Ok people,

I'm going for almost all the shows and workshops so I need to see who else is coming and if i have about 15paz, I can book a bus. When I book, it means i'm paying for your ticket first, so no backing out.
show dates and sypnosis :
14th July, 8pm, Theatre StudioA triple bill: Vincent, Tick and Lost In Transit.
Two short plays and a dance inspired by Van Gogh’s paintings; two chairs morph into a myriad of images and characters; a woman with an attitude wryly gets back at the world with being late; two women meet on a bus ride that neither will forget; two men find themselves somewhere other than reality; and two couples take an unexpected turn on a road trip. Watch the hilarious, the imaginative and the bizarre dream up a storm of extraordinary twists in ordinary lives.
15th July, 3pm, Theatre Studio
A triple-bill: ACSian Theatre, Temasek Junior College and Singapore Polytechnic Theatre Compass.
ACJC ACSian Theatre performs The Guy, a simple yet poignant response to the events of September 11. The play is not about extraordinary things but about the quiet everyday strengths and weaknesses that all of us share and which define our collective humanity. Confronting No Easy Answers is the challenge undertaken by TJC with its play that explores the power of the unspoken and the gravity of silence. It delves into notions of conflict, control and choice as a mother and daughter attempt to deal with the daughter’s inter-racial relationship. Finally, Singapore Polytechnic’s Theatre Compass will revisit The Sandbox by Edward Albee, a roller-coaster ride of emotion, with witty and playful exploration of ideas and language on social responsibilities and fairness.
15th July, 8pm, Theatre Studio
· Serve by Ng Yi-Sheng. Performed by The Ordinary Theatre – a collective of undergraduates and alumni from the NUS Theatre Studies Programme
· Over the Wall by Bryan Tan, an adaptation of James Saunder’s original play of the same name. Performed by Drama.Republic of Republic Polytechnic
It’s all about choices. Do Singaporeans have choices? Do they make the best use of the choices they are offered? At the end of the day, do we stand up and deliver with integrity and honour? Serve explores the National Service (NS) experience
through the eyes and heart of an NSF who wakes up one day and finds himself pregnant. Over The Wall begs the question of freedom and desire of young minds seeking alternatives. Watch how one person tries to discover what is beyond the wall that surrounds the island when everyone is happy being enclosed.
16th July, 3pm, Recital Studio
Bubble Skirts
Bubble Skirts is a theatrical performance devised and performed by 20 teenage girls. In a series of vignettes, the girls reveal various aspects of their teenage experience. From quiet personal confessions to loud proclamations on the extraordinary characteristics of Generation Y, Bubble Skirts boldly explores the outrageous and the ugly. With liberal references to popular and street culture, the latest trends as well as the use of street-wear and music, Bubble Skirts is current, fearless and decisively raw youth theatre.

History
We are the
Drama group from
Kranji Secondary School,
K Productions Drama Team (KPDT). We started off as
Kranji’s
English Literary Drama and Debate Society (ELDDS) in 2002 but merged with the school’s
AVA/PA Club in
2008 to form
K Productions. Now, we are known as K Productions Drama Team while the AVA/PA Club is known as K
Productions Technical Team. We have over 50 members from Secondary One to Four and we are trained every week by a
professional trainer,
Mr Fita Helmi and our very own school teacher,
Ms Geraldine Tang, who is a Speech and
Drama teacher.
Aims & Objectives
Our aim is to provide our members with an all-rounded education in theatre skills.
K Productions Drama Team provides a holistic approach to Drama education. Not only do we train the students
on
acting, we ensure that our members are exposed to
all aspects of theatre, including
script writing and
even
production management. Our club members also learn about
lighting and sound, essential elements
needed for a possible and successful performance. Students are also taught to
direct their own plays.
For example, during our recent October double-bill, the play Over The Wall was directed by our very own
K Productions Drama Team member who was
guided by our trainer. Our students are strongly
encouraged to
create their own play which allows them to
stretch their creativity and leadership to the maximum and most
importantly,
work as a team. Through excursions and annual camps, we expose our students to different
components of drama. Our CCA also hopes to create an opportunity for our pupils to relax and engage one
another in a
creative English speaking environment. We are always on the look out for students
passionate
about the Arts.
