Hey guys! won't be seeing you guys in rehearsal for a while so best wishes to all esp. the Sec 4s for their exams!!! Remember that you are always in my thoughts and my prayers! And those of Ms Fazlin's and Ms Natasha's too!! All the best!
Here's a reminder...
Always persist! Like salmon who, at the risk of their own lives, struggle and swim upstream to spawn (i.e. lay little eggs which will become little salmon fishies), persist in your revision and during the exams, persist in checking your work!
Manage your impulsivity when you embark on ur revision plans and exams
Get enough sleep!!!
take care of yourself and each other. A smile as you pass each other by is plenty!!

Pearlyn and gang and KaiLing and ganag are preparing for the S'pore Poly Script-writing competition.
I am preparing for your camp and our drama outing.
We all have to start preparing for OPEN HOUSE in Nov. - we are conducting a workshop for Pri 6 students who will be signing up for our course. 2 workshops for that one day; one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
We have been invited to watch St Hilda's musical on the 17th NOV at $10. I should be able to arrange for transport and I'm working on creating a collaboration project for you guys with them next year heee....
Loads of exciting stuff... BE READY TO ROCK AND ROLL!!!!

In recognition of the achievements of individual ELDDS members, we also have an internal award system
1. ELDDS Outstanding Leadership Award -
is awarded to graduating students who have showed leadership qualities and has helped lead the club members for 4 years.
2. ELDDS Outstanding Contribution Award -
is awarded to graduating students who have shown outstanding contributions to the club and its activities.
3. ELDDS Artistic Development Award -
is awarded to Secondary 2 to Secondary 4 students who have shown a marked development in
his/her artistic skills and abilities.

History
We are the
Drama group from
Kranji Secondary School,
K Productions Drama Team (KPDT). We started off as
Kranji’s
English Literary Drama and Debate Society (ELDDS) in 2002 but merged with the school’s
AVA/PA Club in
2008 to form
K Productions. Now, we are known as K Productions Drama Team while the AVA/PA Club is known as K
Productions Technical Team. We have over 50 members from Secondary One to Four and we are trained every week by a
professional trainer,
Mr Fita Helmi and our very own school teacher,
Ms Geraldine Tang, who is a Speech and
Drama teacher.
Aims & Objectives
Our aim is to provide our members with an all-rounded education in theatre skills.
K Productions Drama Team provides a holistic approach to Drama education. Not only do we train the students
on
acting, we ensure that our members are exposed to
all aspects of theatre, including
script writing and
even
production management. Our club members also learn about
lighting and sound, essential elements
needed for a possible and successful performance. Students are also taught to
direct their own plays.
For example, during our recent October double-bill, the play Over The Wall was directed by our very own
K Productions Drama Team member who was
guided by our trainer. Our students are strongly
encouraged to
create their own play which allows them to
stretch their creativity and leadership to the maximum and most
importantly,
work as a team. Through excursions and annual camps, we expose our students to different
components of drama. Our CCA also hopes to create an opportunity for our pupils to relax and engage one
another in a
creative English speaking environment. We are always on the look out for students
passionate
about the Arts.
